Custom 7mm PRC – Precision Long-Range Hunting Rifle
This custom-built 7mm PRC was engineered to deliver exceptional long-range performance, accuracy, and reliability in a lightweight hunting platform. Built on the premium B.A.C. Brothers EVO II action, this rifle combines cutting-edge components with a durable custom finish, creating a rifle equally suited for backcountry hunts and extended-range shooting applications.
At the heart of the build is a premium 24-inch BSF carbon fiber barrel featuring a 1:8 twist rate, specifically optimized to stabilize today's heavy-for-caliber, high-ballistic-coefficient 7mm projectiles. BSF barrels are manufactured using a match-grade 416R stainless steel barrel core that is precision rifled and hand-lapped before being wrapped in a proprietary carbon fiber sleeve. The carbon fiber construction significantly reduces overall weight while maintaining the rigidity required for exceptional accuracy. Compared to traditional heavy-contour steel barrels, the BSF design provides comparable stiffness and consistency at a fraction of the weight, making it an ideal choice for hunters and precision shooters alike.
The carbon fiber jacket also promotes efficient heat dissipation by increasing surface area and allowing heat to move away from the barrel more effectively. This helps maintain consistency during extended shooting sessions and minimizes point-of-impact shift associated with barrel heating.
